Mike is Small Groups Pastor at Northeast Christian Church in Louisville, Kentucky. He has also served in small group ministry positions at churches in Anderson, Indiana and Boise, Idaho. He founded SmallGroups.com (The Small Group Network) in 1995. He is the author of several books and small group guides, including Leading from the Heart: A Group Leader’s Guide to Passionate Ministry (TOUCH). Mike leads small group conferences and seminars and does small group consulting in churches across the country. He and his wife, Heidi, live in Pewee Valley, Kentucky, with their four school-aged children. Mike received his BBA from the University of Cincinnati (1983) and his MA from Cincinnati Bible Seminary (1993). Mike’s interests include playing and watching most sports, as well as bicycling.
