Rick Howerton

Rick Howerton was the Small Group Minister and Associate Teaching Pastor at Living Hope Baptist Church in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Prior to working in the local church Rick shepherded 12 college students at Western Kentucky University as he began a Small Group ministry on the campus he served that has continued to this day. While serving in the local church, Rick took a Small Group ministry from conception with only a handful of people in his office to over 400 persons in four categories of Small Groups. Before joining the Serendipity House team Rick spent two years as the Small Group Consultant for LifeWay Christian Resources. Rick brings to the plate an understanding of processes, systems, structures, and a knowledge of various types of Small Group churches. But his passion is people, people being transformed through the power of the Holy Spirit working through authentic Christian community.
