M. Lynn Reddick, Ph.D.

Mitchell Lynn Reddick is a native of Georgia; born in Statesboro, February 20, 1943. He grew up on a farm near Portal, Georgia. Ordained as a Southern Baptist minister at a young age, he went on to pastor several large churches in the southeast. He earned a B.A. in Christianity and Psychology from Mercer University, as well as Master of Divinity, Master of Theology, and Doctor of Ministry from Southeastern Seminary. A second doctor’s degree (Ph.D.) was earned from International Seminary. Twenty years as a pastor increased Lynn’s need for a deeper touch from God, which came two years later when God lifted the Reddick’s ministry to a new level of spiritual power and effectiveness. This new direction resulted in a series of new church plants. The Reddicks were among the first in America to initiate church cell groups, the development of which led to open church principles outlined in the New Testament. He is President of Open Church Ministries and the newly formed Covenant Bible Institute in Portal, Georgia. His apostolic calling has resulted in several hundred new church plants, a highlight in his forty two-year ministry. He and his wife, Linda travel extensively in foreign countries modeling open meeting principles, the power of blessing, and small group dynamics. He also writes regular articles for several international magazines. Dr. and Mrs. Reddick live in an old country house on the edge of a cotton patch near Portal, Georgia. They have two married children and three grandchildren. Contact Info M. Lynn Reddick, Ph.D. M. Lynn Reddick, Ph.D. Open Church Ministries 304 Grady Street P.O. The church is arousing from centuries of sleepy irrelevance, secret abuse, and cleric arrogance. A new recovery group of disciples is awakening—dressed in humility, marching in unity, and wielding weapons of spiritual power against a pervasive kingdom of darkness.
