Jon Weiner

Jon Weiner is the leadership development minister with the Small Groups team at Southeast Christian Church in Louisville, KY. Jon is married to Glenda and has three children. He is a graduate of Southern Baptist Theological Seminary with a MRE in Adult Education. His responsibilities at Southeast include the development of material used in training, the training of new and prospective leaders and the enhancement of existing leadership. Jon also travels to others churches providing training and assisting leaders in the development of small groups. Jon is the author of a Bible study on James and other books on small group issues. He has co-authored a training manual with Murphy Belding, Small Groups minister at Southeast. Jon has been in ministry for 16 years and has been at Southeast, his home congregation since 1999.

“The meter is running buddy.”  That is what the driver said to me as I got into the taxi.  I thought it ironic that he did not ask me where we were going, but simply informed me that I had better hurry.  Every second seemed to become a dollar.  I was in a hurry.
