Summer is a natural time of the year to pull back and get in some "me time". We are so busy with life that scheduling some down time to recharge our batteries becomes a necessary part of our summer routine. I do hope you have been able to do that or will do it soon. As you get back into your routine, mid August, use that recharged energy to give back to others. Make it a "Christmas in August" Bible Study for your group. Remember, giving is not dependent on the condition of your checkbook but on the condition of your heart. Lead your group in this brief Bible Study and model these life principles in your own life.
" For God so loved the world that he gave… John 3:16
"Freely you have received; freely give." Matthew 10:8
"It is more blessed to give than to receive." Acts 20:35
