In the Fall

How does the season of autumn compare to our spiritual lives?

Ask your group, "What about fall/autumn do you enjoy?" (They may respond in a variety of ways including: football, cool weather, changing colors.)

Continue the discussion by asking your group, "If we compare fall/autumn to our spiritual lives, what might be happening in a person's life in the "fall/autumn" of their walk with God?" (e.g., the dead is falling away, deep changes, new beginnings)

Ask your group if they can relate to any of the descriptions. You could ask, "Are any of you in the fall/autumn of your walk with God?" Encourage group members to explain their response.
