Content Submission
- We are looking for articles, ideas, and insights dealing with each month's Small Group Dynamics online magazine theme; cartoons; brief testimonies about how God has moved in your group; humor in groups; ice-breaker ideas; whatever you think other leaders would benefit from. We will have special sections for different kinds of groups, so if you have something to contribute about recovery groups, for instance, send it to us. Also, we will include information and helps for all types of small group leadership: facilitators, apprentices and assistants, hosts, shepherds, coaches, administrators, pastors.
- We use mostly practical, how-to oriented articles. Most articles are between 500 and 1,500 words in length, although shorter or longer articles may be used on occasion.
- We prefer Bible quotations from the New International Version (NIV) or New Living Translation (NLT) (mark all Bible quotes with version used).
- Query the editor by e-mail to dlentz@smallgroups.com at least two months in advance of issue date. Or just send an article(s) at least one month in advance. Send articles by disk or by e-mail as an attachment to dlentz@smallgroups.com by postal mail to P.O. Box 621, Zionsville, IN 46077.
- The Small Group Network uses MS Word 2002 for Windows. We usually can convert other file types, however. Or, simply send your article as a text file. Include on your submission your name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, and approximate word count of the article.
- Not all articles that are submitted will be posted to the Small Group Network Internet site (s). Contributors who offer articles that are selected to be posted to the Internet are offering rights to their work in accordance to this agreement and will then be sent a check (or other barter agreement) which when cashed will serve as a written confirmation of rights being granted.
