Why is a strong parent-child bond important to passing on our faith to our children?

Overview

"Parents need to be intentional about creating a stronger parent-child bond," writes Kathi Hunter in her article for CHRISTIAN PARENTING TODAY. In a culture filled with hectic schedules, overbooked kids, and worn-out parents, often there is little time left for depth of relationship with our children. Hunter says carving out time to spend with our children is a must for shaping our children's character.
