Overview
When our discussions turn to talk about God's love, so many of us want to say, "Yes, but . . ." We want to make sure that sin isn't minimized and that we don't forget about God's wrath and justice. We use statements like, "God loves sinners but hates the sin," and "God loves you as you are, but you need to change." And when we hear that God's love wins out, we stop to remind everyone that there's more to the story. But maybe God's love doesn't need qualifiers. Maybe God's love simply is—and that's all we need to know.
