A fun icebreaker for new groups

Supplies Needed:

A bag of random objects (at least one per group member). Just about anything will do: sticky notes, yo-yos, kazoos, pens, lip balm, hand sanitizer, toothbrushes, candy, highlighters, ping pong balls, tissue packs, or anything else you find. The key is to have a variety of objects.

Activity:

Pass around your bag of objects and ask each group member to choose an item. When everyone has an item, ask group members to describe two ways they are similar to their object.

This is a fun icebreaker for new groups that will help you get to know one another. You can also opt to let group members keep the objects they choose.
