I am an heir to your kingdom. I have been adopted into your family and now I can call you, Abba, Daddy. I find such comfort in your arms. Sometimes I am fearful and you gift me with courage. Sometimes I am anxious and with a smile you calm my spirit. Sometimes I am hurting and with a gentle touch you wipe away my tears.
And from the rising of the burning sun to its setting in the cool of the evening Your name will be praised. Who is like you, O Lord our God? Psalm 113:3 As for You, O God, Your way is perfect. Your word is proven. Psalm 18:30
By your word of forgiveness I have been redeemed. I am no longer held in bondage to the ways of this world. But I am free; there is now no condemnation because of your gift. I come boldly to You Father even as you sit in the throne room. And there, because of the blood of Jesus Christ, you no longer see a wretch consumed with selfish agendas but an overcomer justified and perfect in your sight.
It is good to give thanks to You, Lord, to sing praises to Your name, O Most High. I will declare Your loving kindness in the morning and I will tell of your faithfulness in the evening. Psalm 92:1-2 Your love for me is never far from my mind and I cannot be quiet.
Because of your passion for me, O God, I am being changed. By your stripes I am healed. My once bleeding wounds are now but scars and faded memories. By your sacrifice I am being transformed. I believe in you and with my whole heart I trust in Your perfect ways. There was a time I felt defeated and desperate. But, now I know that through Christ I can do all things. I am more than a conqueror.
