Make enough copies of these scriptures for each person in your group. Highlight phrases so that several (if not all) of the people in your group will get a chance to read a phrase. If there are more phrases than group members, highlight two for each person to read. Take time to have the members read their lines and then repeat them one more time, having the group read the scriptures together out loud. Pray a prayer of praise and thanksgiving.
Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth.
Worship the Lord with gladness; come before Him with joyful songs.
Know that the Lord is God.
It is He who made us, and we are His;
we are His people, the sheep of His pasture. —Psalm 100:1-3
God appoints the sun to shine by day,
God decrees the moon and stars to shine by night,
God stirs up the sea so that its waves roar—
Lord Almighty is his name. —Jeremiah 31:35
I will praise You, Lord, for You have rescued me.
O Lord my God, I cried out to You for help, and You restored my health.
Sing to the Lord, all You godly ones! Praise His holy name.
Weeping may go on all night, but joy comes with the morning.
You have turned my mourning into joyful dancing.
I will sing praises to You and not be silent.
O Lord my God, I will give You thanks forever! —Psalm 30:1-12
