Take a little extra time and play Barrier Breaker Spoons with your group. These are the rules: Sit around a table to play. Place a spoon on the table for every person playing, minus one. So if you have 8 people playing, you should have 7 spoons in the middle of the table. Using a normal deck of cards (take out the jokers), pass out 4 cards to every person. The dealer begins passing the remaining part of the deck, one card at a time, to the person on his/her right. The object of the game is to get four of a kind. Each person looks at that new card and decides if he/she wants to keep it and pass on one of his/her other cards to the person on his/her right or to simply pass on that card. Each player can only be holding 4 cards at a time. When someone gets four of a kind he/she wants to reach out and grab a spoon. As soon as he/she does that everyone needs to quickly grab a spoon. The one person who does not get a spoon loses and he/she must draw a question and answer it. Keep playing until all your questions are gone.
Write or type out the following questions and cut them into strips. Fold the questions in half and place them in a bowl.
